JFT Film Productions will host an open casting call for “Darkness”:

Production is seeking (18+), actors, extras, zombie performers, makeup artists, and crew members.
 

We are seeking actors of varying ages and experience levels, as well as dedicated individuals interested in contributing behind the scenes. This is a great opportunity for local creatives to be part of a feature film production.


AVAILABLE ROLES:

·  Male (Actor 21–35) to play 28-year-old man – sad, quiet, nervous, unsure; 5’11”+ with dark hair, athletic, handsome
 

·  Male (Actor 21–35) to play 21-year-old man – nervous, doubtful, energetic; 5’4”–5’8”
 

·  Male (Actor 35–50) to play 40–47-year-old man – Operation Anaconda veteran; aggressive, alcoholic, weapons expert, protective, end of the world enthusiast, cynical; 5’8”+

·  Female (Actor 35–60) to play 35–50-year-old woman – nervous, sad, tired, confused

·  Male (Actor 35–60) to play 30–50-year-old man – nervous, protective, clumsy, naive
 

·  Male (Actor 18–40) to play 20–50-year-old man – nervous, worried, clumsy, naive

 

 

Amish Community Roles (ACTORS PORTRAYING AMISH CHARACTERS)

·  Female (Actor 35–60) to play 45–50-year-old Amish woman – nervous, sad
 

·  Male (Actor 35–60) to play 45–50-year-old Amish man – protective, wise
 

·  2 Males (Actors 18–30) to play 18–22-year-old Amish brothers – nervous, insightful, protective, wise


Antagonist Group Roles

·  Male (Actor 21–40) to play 25–35-year-old leader – dominant, aggressive, greedy, manipulative; 5’8”+, bald preferred but can work around that if needed.
 

·  3 Males (Actors 21–40) to play 21–35-year-old men – aggressive, cynical, envious, destructive
 

·  2 Females (Actors 18–30) to play 21–28-year-old women – very attractive; one emo, one provocative; both manipulative, aggressive


Understudy Roles

·  Female lead role (Actor 18–30) to play 20–25-year-old woman – beautiful, humble, loving; evolves into aggressive, dominant personality
 

·  Male second lead role (Actor 21–35) to play 25–30-year-old man – strong, wise; must perform Southern accent (Oklahoma); 5’9”+
